AFTER THE RAIN
Finding beauty in the pause.
Not every season of growth looks like movement.
Sometimes it looks like stillness.
Like sitting near the window after the rain has passed and noticing how different everything feels. The air is lighter. The world is quieter. Even the familiar somehow looks new again.
Perhaps we need moments like these.
Moments when there is nowhere to rush, nothing to prove, and no reason to fill the silence. Just enough space to listen—to the rain, to our thoughts, to ourselves.
As the season begins to shift, we’re reminded that slowing down doesn’t mean we’ve stopped moving forward. Sometimes the pause is exactly where clarity finds us.
So today, let the cup stay warm a little longer. Leave the book open. Watch the last drops make their way down the window.
Whatever is waiting can wait just a moment more.
Some days invite you to move faster. Others ask you to slow down.
Today, we choose the latter.
