What we carry forward. What we’re ready to release.
There comes a point in every season when we have to decide what gets to come with us.
Not everything should.
Some things carried us when we needed them. Some taught us something. And some simply became familiar enough that we forgot we had a choice.
Growth asks us to choose again.
There is no shame in changing your mind. In wanting something different. In protecting your peace more fiercely. In making room for joy without needing to earn it first.
So pour something warm and give yourself a few quiet minutes.
Keep what nourishes you. Honor what taught you. Release what has finished its work in your life.
A new season doesn’t require a new version of you.
Sometimes it simply asks you to come home to the person you’ve been becoming all along.
